Great information
I enjoyed your book very much. You covered everything, I was concerned about. Thank you for not putting too much information that might confuse newbies like myself. We are very excited to get started on our mini garden. My kids play many mobile/PC games about plants & gardens. I thought this would be a great intro for my family to grow real plants & having our very own garden. ~Amazon Customer
Purchased this for a first time gardener
Even though I’ve gardened for years, I purchased this for my son who is a first time gardener and lives away from me. This book has very good, basic information for a beginning gardener.
I give it four stars because new gardeners are very impatient. I’ve even know some who have dug up their seeds to see if they have started to sprout yet. It would have been helpful to give some guidelines for various seeds so that newbies would have some idea of what to expect in the way of sprouting timelines.
On the whole, a very good basic gardening book I would recommend to beginning gardeners. ~Glorybee
Very thorough
This book is very thorough. Not a complete guide to gardening, it covers seed starting very well. I’m an avid gardener and I learned a lot of helpful information and tips. All the bases are covered, from soil, pots, lighting and into-the-garden transfer. This book is easy to understand and useful for all gardeners, new or experienced. ~Caroline S.
